again in summer beds we found ourselves floating
burning up into the night, tangled to tethered lines
our limbs mixing tails
no longer landlocked or tired of trying
to extend beyond our limited reach
because i've been wearing this albatross around my neck
and you've been wrestling with broken bones and bottled ghosts
but i still see you golden
and i know with love grows
and i know our limbs glow

This is probably the 10th time I’ve bought this album and it’s worth every penny. I was hooked on The Hotelier (formerly the Hotel Year) the moment I heard this Album. It’s a must have for any fan of emo 🖤 “Among the Wildflowers” has sentimental value. The end of this track still makes me cry. I remember this album playing in the background on many sleepless nights spent talking to a dear friend of mine, who I will always miss terribly. “Chewing Wildflowers to Numb the Pain.” Dianna Slater
